MYBAR CLOSING PARTY

Friday was the closing party of MyBar for the summer. Keano used to work there last year,and they wanted him to play at their closing party.
I worked till 00.30 at Whisky,than I left to attend the party.


Not the best picture..but anyway :)
It was nice to be in another place than just Whisky Mist. Its like every time there is a big event or a party, I'm working !! 
We'll see how its gonna be in the summer,hopefully better than the winter !

OPPDATERING FRA BEIRUT

(forst til dere som kommenterer alltid skrivefeil, jeg har engelsk pc,engelsk ordbor og engelsk autokorrekt..sa det er ikke alltid det kommer riktig og jeg har ikke ork til a se over alt og skrive to a'er etc etc,om dere ikke forstar,sa hvorfor gidde a leste)

Jeg har fatt noen bekyrings meldinger ang det som har vert i nyhetene fra Lebanon og Beirut.
Jeg skal prove a fortelle hva som skjer,men er ikke alt vi vet,for nyhetene er ikke pa her hele tiden,men dette er det vi har hort.
Det som foregar er ikke krig krig..det er uroligheter mellom to partier. Og det er ikke mellom to forsjellige religioner (som vi oftes tror) det er sunni mot sunni. Pga at en i et parti gikk ut og lagde sitt eget parti,og na er de ikke enige. 
Det er i Tripoli,2-3 timer fra Beirut hvor jeg bor,det er ''verst'' Men noe hendte der og det ble uenigheter her i Beirut sondag. Men dette er sann som skjer i alle land. Jeg leser jo nesten hver dag i de norske nyhetene at noen ble drept i Norge,og i andre land.
Vi har hort na at 12 lebanesiske er kidnappet i Syria,fordi de kom fra Iran og ville inn i landet og de lot de ikke.
Et omrade her i Beirut er stengt,men jeg vet ikke helt hvorfor.

Men jeg kan forsikre dere om at her er slikt "vanligt" pa denne tiden i fjor var det ogsa slike kamper.
Venner jeg har her er ikke redd for krig,og de er vandt med slik. De sier nar det er krig,slipper de jobb oa drar til trygge steder a lever livet :)
Om noe farlig skjer ringer det tyske ambassaden Keano og den Norske ringer meg +at hotellet jeg jobber for har "flyktnings plan" om noe skjer og de kommer a henter meg med en gang.
 
Om noe mer skjer skal jeg holde dere oppdatert,slik sa dere ikke uroer dere. Jeg vet at det ser verre ut pa nyhetene enn det det egentlig er!

Jeg vet det horest skummelt ut med Irak,det var det jeg tenkte da jeg horte at jeg skulle jobbe i Lebanon, men der er ikke sann som man ser pa tv. Her jeg jobber er alt trygt og ingen krig :) Min venn,som er bestevenn med min kjere, forsikrer dere at alt er trygt. Erbil er mer en turist by.



Her er hva jobben gar ut pa :


Since SNR is concerned with television production and event organizing activities, we are fetching for 3 hostesses from Lebanon or Western Europe .We are presentable ,seeking
young, dynamic, work motivated and responsible girls.
The group of 3 girls will be accompanied by a team leader (production manager) which they will have to follow directions from.

The first party represented by S.N.R provides the following conditions and terms:
1.    Location of job: the girl will be working at: Iraq- Erbil (mall indoor ?events)
2.    Contract duration: 1 month
3.    Job enrolment date: should be available in end of May , starting June1 till June 30
4.    Weekly working days: 7 days a week
5.    Working hours per day: 2 to 5 hours a day ? 3 events during this month ? Miss pageant Erbil
6.    Specific timings of work: everyday live TV shows needed effort of 3 hours from the hostesses to
help in production and coordinate, wearing the SNR uniform and promote. 3 different entertainment nights in this 1 month- 4 hours of hostessing and promoting, and one major event Miss Pageant Erbil 3 hour job.
7.    Dress code : formal uniform as advised by our production with badges of SNR
8.    Working area: malls, indoor all secure areas.
9.    Accommodation: in shared furnished apartment or a villa to be discussed further more lately and
with a driver. Shared rooms secured by SNR
10. Communication mean: internet is provided, international calls on own expenses.
11. Day off activities or free time: since Erbil is a new developing city and limited entertainment life
, the hostesses can be in malls, restaurants but always accompanied with personnel of SNR production .
12. Tickets: all tickets will be provided by SNR
13. Visa and blood tests: Visas are provided by SNR, blood test on AIDS-HIV test result valid 3-6
month date.
14. Financial concern: each girl has a fixed payee salary. The Salary of each girl and team leader will
be discussed after approval of photos and talent and will be negotiable upon resume review.
15. Prior to approval of any hostess, contact number and photos and passport copies should be held in
to SNR.
16. Acknowledging that maybe European girls are not Arabic speakers, so English is a must.

Girl,as you see we are looking for girls to work 1 and 1 month in Erbil,with my friend,its a safe city in Irak,so no worries :)
Monthly salary is 2500 $ , but you will also get a chance to book more model jobs there to earn more monney !!
You are working with a tv channel,so you will be on tv all the time.

SPORTING CLUB TODAY

It was a nice day at the sporting club here in Beirut. Its not easy to get Keano out tanning,but I'm sure I'm gonna get to do it more now. Finlay he saw that it was nice and relaxing to be at the beach to,not just work and party. The sporting club is the perfect place to lay and relax !

Now its time to relax a bit before work again tonight.
Tonight we have our Full Moon party,and remember to say my name at the door to pay the 20$ entrance ink. 2 drinks !

Also got a call from Keano's mom,and she's coming 1st of June,gonna me nice to see her for the first time :)

ROAD TRIIIIP IN LEBANON

Finally we got away from the city of Beirut a bit. Although it was just for a couple of days,it was so nice to see something else than high buildings and traffic jams. We went first up to Baalbek to see the wonderful ruins!! As I had history in school,it was a really nice experience to be there. We came 5 min before they closed the tickets,so we had the hole place almost just for our self. But next time we will have the guide,I was just walking around with a thousand questions about the places. And since they closed the museum and other stuff was also over :(

After being done the we went to eat,and than we drove to a small village to spend the night. We were there last summer liked it a lot,so we wanted to go back. The rooms are so nice and calm !


After breakfast we left to the south to visit Keano's bother's grave. Its a long drive so he's not often there,and it was the first time for me. What is ''weird'' and that we see as one more sign for us to belong together, is that my mom died 08.06.2002 and his brother died 09.06.2002, one day after !!



Than we made a surprise visit to the widow of his brother and two kids, they were very happy to see uncle again. They were so cute and I hope we'll be meeting more in the future,as this was the first time I meet them also :) We were at their house a while and than we went to eat,before we took the road back to Beirut.



It was a nice trip,but I wished we could have more time to go more places and see more, this country is full of hidden nature treasures and things to see,but they hide them well..don't know how tourist find their way here. But hopefully next month we'll take a new trip :)

FULL MOON FRIDAYS !!!

After yesterdays 2nd edition of or FullMoon Party,I know this is gonna be a good night from now on. Its something new in town and the people really enjoys the good party mood. With neon light,painting and props available for the guest..bottles was popping and your superman/dark wader champagne parade was hitting the floor.
